Hommema at center of massive mask-cleaning breakthrough

An idea from MechSE alumnus Kevin Hommema (BSME '02) and his wife, Dr. Laurie Hommema, has quickly snowballed into a federally funded, $415M decontamination project that will allow millions of highly protective N95 face masks to be reused.
