U.S. News and World Report has ranked MechSE’s online mechanical engineering master’s degree programs as No. 2 in the nation for the second consecutive year.

MechSE offers the research-oriented Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) and the professionally oriented Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng.ME). The degree requirements for the online options are the same as the on-campus options, so the diploma for the online programs is the same diploma awarded to on-campus students.

“Earning a master’s degree online from MechSE offers incredible learning and career opportunities for our mechanical engineering graduates,” said Professor Petros Sofronis, MechSE’s associate head for graduate programs. “This is even more relevant now, when online education is proving to be an essential option for more students.”
