In memoriam: former MechSE Professor W. L. Chow

We are sorry to report that former MechSE professor Wen Lung Chow passed away on September 20, 2013. He was 89 years old. A professor here from 1955 to 1988, Dr. Chow was also an alumnus of the department, having received his MSME degree in 1950 and PhDME degree in 1953. The late Dr. Helmut Korst was Dr. Chow’s faculty advisor.
