MechSE's graduate programs still strong at #7

U.S. News and World Report has ranked the University of Illinois as the #7 best graduate program in mechanical engineering. MechSE’s MS/PhD program consistently ranks in the top ten in the country.

The Grainger College of Engineering moved up two spots to #7 and now boasts 10 graduate degree programs ranked in the Top 10.

MechSE’s other rankings include a #9 undergraduate program in mechanical engineering and a #3 online graduate degree in mechanical engineering. In addition to offering BS, MS and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering, the department also has a strong undergraduate degree in engineering mechanics and MS/PhD degrees in theoretical and applied mechanics.
