He will serve a three-year term beginning immediately. The journal focuses on theoretical, computational and experimental research, with an emphasis on contributions which increase the basic understanding of transfer processes and their application to engineering problems.
Miljkovic leads the Energy Transport Research Lab and also serves as Director of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Center, an NSF Industry/University Cooperative Research Center established more than 35 years ago at Illinois. His groundbreaking work in the multidisciplinary fields of thermo-fluid sciences, interfacial phenomena and renewable energy has been recognized with numerous awards and honors.
