U.S. News and World Report has ranked MechSE’s online mechanical engineering master’s degree programs as #2 in the nation, moving up one spot from last year.
MechSE offers the research-oriented Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) and the professionally oriented Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng.ME). The degree requirements for the online options are the same as the on-campus options, so the diploma for the online programs is the same diploma awarded to on-campus students.
“We are very proud of our online graduate degree programs,” said Professor Jiajun He, Director of MechSE's M.Eng.ME Program. “This year’s #2 ranking confirms what we in The Grainger College of Engineering already knew – that earning a master’s degree online from MechSE offers incredible learning and career opportunities for our mechanical engineering graduates. This is even more relevant now, when online education is proving to be an essential option for more students.”
