Colleagues and former students of Donald E. Carlson, a longtime member of the Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Department, will be saddened to learn that he passed away on August 21. Professor Carlson, who served the university for over 42 years, will long be remembered by the many people whose lives he has touched over the years. Read this article
