National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Workshop

Presented by the Graduate College at the University of Illinois.
The NSF-GRFP provides three years of full tuition, plus a $32,000 annual stipend, access to international research opportunities, and entry into one of the most prestigious scientific communities in the world. A panel of speakers will provide insights on how to prepare successful applications.
MechSE Fellowship Workshop
September 23rd, 4:00-5:00 p.m., Deere Pavilion, MEL
Presented by MechSE.
Professor Harley Johnson, Associate Head for Graduate Programs at MechSE, will discuss applying for external fellowships (special emphasis on the National Science Foundation fellowship competition). Dr. Johnson will announce an internal MechSE incentive competition for MechSE students applying for an NSF fellowship. Dr. Ken Vickery, Director of External Fellowship sat the Graduate College, will also present.
