Harvard Business Review has taken a look at the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program, which is helping scientists become successful entrepreneurs. Two primary examples given are MechSE’s Adam Tilton and Associate Professor Prashant Mehta. Based on what HBR calls the “rude awakening” the pair initially received from I-Corps, they switched their technology’s application from missiles to wearables—a massive pivot that launched the company Rithmio soon thereafter.
