September 12, 2019 - Postdoc Soumyadip Sett, in Professor Nenad Miljkovic's lab, has led the development of a novel surface to promote higher efficiency of vapor-to-liquid phase change, leading to increased efficiency of the condensation and separation of fluids with low surface tension. This will significantly reduce energy and costs for companies in the crude oil industry like British Petroleum, which was also involved in the study.
