MechSE’s graduate program in mechanical engineering has been named the No. 4 program in the country (in a tie with the California Institute of Technology) by U.S. News and World Report.
This upward movement was the only change among the current schools ranked in the Top 5 for mechanical engineering. It continues the MechSE program’s momentum, ascending from 7 to 6 to 4 over the three most recent rankings.
At No. 3, the University of California, Berkeley is the only public institution ranked higher.
