Krier to Receive AIAA Award

Dr. Herman KrierProfessor Herman Krier has been selected to receive the 2006 Propellants and Combustion Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The award honors Krier for outstanding contributions to the study of propellants, energetic materials, solid- and liquid-fuel rockets, shock hydrodynamics, viscous gas dynamics and plasma dynamics.

Professor Herman Krier has been selected to receive the 2006 Propellants and Combustion Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The award honors Krier for outstanding contributions to the study of propellants, energetic materials, solid- and liquid-fuel rockets, shock hydrodynamics, viscous gas dynamics and plasma dynamics. He will receive his award in July during the Joint Propulsion Conference sponsored by AIAA, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Society for Engineering Education.
