We have tried our very best to ensure that your experience while browsing the MechSE site is a positive one. However, there are a variety of things that could cause problems during your visit. If you have difficulty using this site in any way, please send us a message. We will help you in any way we can. We do not want technical issues to prevent you from learning more about all of the wonderful things that are happening at MechSE.
Statistics and Collection
The MechSE web site uses Google Analytics to generate information about how visitors like you use our site. This provides us with the necessary information to improve our site and make changes to it dictated by the needs of our audiences. Accessibility
We make every effort to ensure that our site meets not only the W3C HTML Standards but also that it is accessible to those using assistive technologies such as screen readers or magnifiers. To help us evaluate the site, we use the Functional Accessibility Evaluator (FAE) produced by the Illinois Center for Information Technology Accessibility (iCITA). This tool allows us to ensure that our site follows the HTML Best Practices as determined by the iCITA.

We have designed and programmed this site using the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) HTML 4.01 Strict standard. During the development process, we frequently tested our site against the W3C validation tools.
