Faculty Advising Manual
The purposes of faculty advising of students are to provide the students with career advice and to help the students tailor their coursework and experience (internships, research, study abroad, student societies, etc.) to achieve their academic and professional goals.
We have provided the PDF document linked below discussing topics that commonly arise, in order to reduce the time you spend with the students on curriculum requirement and procedural questions that students may ask. We ask you to become familiar with this information. If students have questions that are not addressed by the document below, please refer them to the MechSE Undergraduate Programs Office in 154 MEB.
