Research Description

Professor Hsiao-Wecksler uses dynamic systems modeling, control theory and movement analysis to study posture and movement-particularly as they relate to musculoskeletal biomechanics and rehabilitation engineering. Toward that end, she and other researchers in her lab are developing assistive devices and measurement tools to help explain the mechanisms involved in balance and gait.
