Eduardo Torrealba, an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, had many reasons for choosing MechSE for graduate study. Neera Jain, a Department of Energy Fellow, chose MechSE for research opportunities and a departmental culture she could identify with. Samantha Knoll, an NSF IGERT Fellow, chose MechSE for the wide variety of research and coursework opportunities. Jonathan Felts, another Department of Energy Fellow, sums it up as a “no-brainer.”
