Yesterday was a big day at the University of Illinois as Chancellor Phyllis Wise announced that the Grainger Foundation has pledged $100 million to support the College of Engineering through establishment of the Grainger Engineering Breakthroughs Initiative. Engineering students at the University of Illinois also have access to the University's Main Library system which holds more than twelve million volumes and 22 million items and materials.
